Am I able to schedule an appointment for the immigration physical if I live outside of Pennsylvania?
No, you must reside in Pennsylvania in order to schedule an immigration medical exam with out office.
What forms of identification are required for the exam?
All adults over age 18 must have one valid form of ID (i.e driver’s license or passport). All children under age 14 must also have a copy of their birth certificate
Is the exam covered by insurance?
No, the medical exam is not covered by insurance. However, you may be able to cover the cost of your required blood work and vaccines with your current insurance. 
What is the cost of the exam?
For adults > 18 yo of age, the cost is $275 and for patients younger than 18 the cost is $200.  Payment is due at the intial visit.

What documents do I need for the medical exam?
In addition to a form of ID, you will need a copy of your immunization record. The vaccination record must be in English or be translated by a certified medical translator. 
How long does the process typically take?
For most applicants, the process takes about 1-2 weeks.
I recently had blood testing done. May I use those results for my medical exam?
All blood work ordered as part of the medical exam must be ordered by the civil surgeon at the time of the medical exam. We cannot accept any outside lab results unless you have history of a positive Quantiferon.
What vaccines and labs are required for the medical exam?
Required vaccines and labs are based on age and the patient’s medical history. We will review all required vaccines and labs needed at the time of the first appointment.
